We were delighted to be invited to attend the HIL London Conference 2023: Building the Hydrogen Economy 2023 at Heathrow Airport on 05 July 2023.
With the UK Government building on the ten point action plan for a green industrial revolution, its ambition is to create 5GW of low carbon hydrogen production capacity by 2030. To do this, the industry will need to retrofit and build new infrastructure, unlock private investment to boost final investment decisions and explore ways to secure a sustainable hydrogen economy.
This one-day conference brought a wide range of stakeholders together – all of whom are responsible for delivering the UK’s hydrogen objectives. Practical ways in which infrastructure professionals can produce and distribute hydrogen successfully were discussed.
Split into four sections; we were one of the experts to contribute to the following topics:
– Aligning public and private investment to secure a hydrogen economy
– Building for Success: Working collaboratively to build a network of
hydrogen production, storage and distribution and infrastructure to be
required
– Competitive Future: Scaling up technology to create a more robust
business case and improve final investment decisions
– Unlocking barriers to growth and identifying core off-takers of low carbon
hydrogen
It was a fantastic event and we were delighted to be invited. Thanks to David McLoughlin and Simon Taylor for their enthusiastic participation and for telling the Tritonex Hydrogen Barrier Coating story.
Tritonex is the only barrier system in the world that completely prevents hydrogen leakage in all materials and it is the only solution that fully complies with the ISO 17081:2014 hydrogen permeation standard.
