Hydrogen is quickly gaining attention as a “clean” fuel that can support a transition to a 5 decarbonized energy system.

While zero- and low-carbon hydrogen hold great promise to help solve some of the world’s most pressing energy challenges, hydrogen is also a short-lived indirect greenhouse gas whose warming impact is not well-characterized.
