Expanding Advanced Coating Solutions for Global Energy and Infrastructure Sectors.
Triton Hydrogen is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Material Innovative Gesellschaft mbH (MIG), a renowned materials manufacturer based in Salzkotten, Germany.
The partnership establishes a production capacity of 10 tonnes per day for Tritonex och Tritonor, two flagship advanced coating systems designed to meet the needs of industries in energy, transportation, and infrastructure.
The agreement was formalised on Friday, 7 February, during a visit by Triton Hydrogen’s CEO, Henning Syversen, and investor, Bengt Strøm, to MIG’s state-of-the-art facility. The partnership represents a significant step towards scaling Triton Hydrogen’s innovative coatings in anticipation of increasing global demand.
About Tritonex and Tritonor
- Tritonex: Tritonex is an advanced hydrogen barrier coating certified to ISO 17081 standards. It is engineered to provide exceptional protection against hydrogen permeation and embrittlement, making it an indispensable solution for protecting critical assets in industries such as energy, transportation, and manufacturing. Tritonex ensures long-lasting material performance, cost reduction and enhanced reliability while reducing the risk of material degradation due to hydrogen exposure.
- Tritonor: Tritonor is an advanced anti-corrosion coating system designed to deliver robust protection against external environmental damage, especially in harsh operating conditions. Engineered for use in energy, transportation, and infrastructure sectors, Tritonor extends the life of critical assets by providing superior resistance to corrosion.
Together, these coating systems represent a leap forward in material protection technologies, enabling industries to operate more efficiently, safely, and sustainably.
The Importance of this Partnership
This collaboration with MIG will allow Triton Hydrogen to scale production to unprecedented levels, meeting the needs of industries that rely on high-performance protective coatings. By leveraging MIG’s advanced manufacturing expertise, Triton Hydrogen will expand its global footprint and strengthen its capacity to deliver innovative solutions to its customers.
“This MOU with MIG is a key milestone for Triton Hydrogen as we advance the production of Tritonex and Tritonor,” said Henning Syversen, CEO of Triton Hydrogen. “With MIG’s manufacturing capabilities and shared commitment to quality, this partnership enables us to meet the growing demand for sustainable, high-performance coating systems and support industries in extending the lifespan of their critical infrastructure.”
Boris Bonder, COO of MIG, added: “We are excited to collaborate with Triton Hydrogen on this groundbreaking initiative. Tritonex and Tritonor are exceptional products, and we are proud to play a part in delivering them to industries that are striving for sustainable innovation.”
